About Me

I'm Isabelle Oss, a Denverite born and raised (New Englander by blood), a passionate storyteller and news junkie. I am currently a Journalism graduate student at Boston University. I have a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Colorado State University and love using my anthropological skills to inform my journalism. My ethnographic experience has made me endlessly curious about the world's stories and I love exploring them from every possible perspective with any medium.

My coursework so far at BU has ignited a passion for magazine writing and audio production, although I enjoy anything from breaking news to documentary. I'm most interested in covering local news and have an interest in social media and climate reporting. No matter the beat, I aim to continue chasing the truth to create important pieces.

When I'm not creating, I love to play guitar, travel and explore New England's hidden gems.

Thank's for taking a look at my work! There will be MUCH more soon.
